Dining Out For Life San Francisco: April 24th, 2024

Dining Out For Life San Francisco is a special day of community and compassion where the local restaurant industry bands together to support health justice. Scheduled for Wednesday, April 24, 2024, eateries across the city will contribute 25 percent or more of their day's earnings to the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. This significant initiative helps promote health, wellness, and social justice for those communities most affected by HIV.

On this day, Per Diem in the Financial District will be donating 25% of its sales to the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, demonstrating their support to promote health, wellness, and social justice for communities most impacted by HIV.


1906 Earthquake and Fire Anniversary Commemoration: April 18th, 2024

The Lotta Crabtree Fountain, an iconic San Francisco landmark since 1875, serves as a memorial site for the 1906 Earthquake and Fire survivors. Annually, at 5:13 AM on April 18th, a commemoration is held at this historic location, where Market, Geary, and Kearny Streets intersect. Join this tradition to honor the event's anniversary.


CREATE!: April 25th, 2024

Dare to explore the creative past, present, and future of Downtown SF! CREATE!, a visual and performing arts celebration of San Francisco’s creative past, present, and future, will take place at Landing at Leidesdorff from 4-8 PM on Thursday, April 25th, 2024. It’s FREE to attend! There will be lots of entertainment, activities, food and beverages.

This event pays tribute to downtown's vibrant history, particularly Monkey Block, an artist enclave where now the Transamerica Pyramid stands, which hosted renowned artists like Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. Organized by the Downtown SF Partnership, CREATE! will feature an interactive mix of art, performances, and culinary delights from local talents, inviting public engagement in honoring the city's creative legacy. The event is free and open to everyone.

Head West Marketplace: Every 1st Sunday

Experience the HEAD WEST Marketplace at the Ferry Building in San Francisco! Occurring every first Sunday of the month, this event showcases local Bay Area Makers, Crafters, Designers, Artists, and Vintage Merchants in the Ferry Building’s scenic back plaza. HEAD WEST, founded by Jimmy Brower, is a local, outdoor retail marketplace designed to offer affordable space for vendors. It combines modern craftsmanship with a vagabond spirit, providing a real-life platform for both new and established brands to sell their goods in various iconic Bay Area locations. HEAD WEST aims to support local creativity, entrepreneurship, and the arts, positively impacting the economy and community well-being. Creatives and entrepreneurs, especially those identifying as BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA+, are encouraged to participate.


Procrastinator's Cinco de Mayo: May 6th, 2024

Tlaloc will be offering $2.00 street tacos. Conjunto PelĎŚn will be performing from 12-2 PM on Landing at Leidesdorff for Procrastinator's Cinco de Mayo!


Bhangra & Beats Night Market: May 10th, 2024

Immerse yourself in the vibrant heart of San Francisco at Bhangra & Beats Night Market. Experience the rhythms of the Bay with live South Asian Bhangra and popular local music, savor diverse street food, enjoy craft cocktails, and shop unique creations from local artisans, all under the glow of the moonlit Downtown skyline. This exhilarating, FREE event spans three city blocks, transforming Downtown into a lively marketplace. Running on four Fridays in 2024, from 5pm to 10pm, it's a celebration of San Francisco’s cultural vibrancy that's open to all. Mark your calendars for the first Bhangra & Beats Night Market on Friday, May 10th.

Brought to life by the synergy of Into The Streets and Non Stop Bhangra, and in partnership with the City and County of San Francisco, this event showcases an eclectic mix of local and international talent, ensuring an unforgettable experience. Bhangra and Beats Night Market is a proud project of Livable City, highlighting the city's dynamic spirit.


Drag Me Downtown - Thursdays in June

Mark your calendars for a fabulous time! To celebrate PRIDE, Drag Me Downtown is returning for a second year. Drag Me Downtown is a series of fierce sequin-studded pop-up drag shows each Thursday, from 5 PM to 7 PM throughout the month of June, taking place at new locations each week.
